QNB has joined the ranks of many other industry leaders in considering long term partnerships and signing brand ambassadors over short term influencer deals. A trend I’ve spoken about frequently, that is becoming the greater norm globally. This trend is a shift in the marketing landscape that allows for more genuine content that is more integrated as opposed to clearly paid content purely for short term reach. Brands of all sizes can leverage ambassadors that have influence outside of just their follower count. Brands should ask does this influencer speak to my audience? Do you they have an engaged fanbase? Are they in alignment to our vision, brand personality, style, voice, and philosophy? Does this ambassador align with the marketing goals in relation to my fiscal year or the terms of the proposed contract? Ideally considering these questions above will enable you to make the right decision that truly allows you to build authenticity, trust, and stronger influence into your brand.Although big brands like QNB can afford globally recognized ambassadors, smaller brands can consider micro influencers with dedicated fan bases or multiple smaller brand ambassadors! What are your thoughts on this partnership, and what do you consider for long term partnerships with influencers or ambassadors?

Etihad eyes first Gulf carrier IPO ✈️The Abu Dhabi carrier reports a5-fold increase in profitsthanks to a40% passenger surge. Expanding their network to popular destinations like Boston and Copenhagen fueled this growth. As they compete with regional giants like Emirates.Etihad Airways, one of two UAE flagship carriers, is looking into an initial public offering, reports Bloomberg, citing people familiar with the matter. If successful, this move would establish the first publicly traded major Gulf airline. The Abu Dhabi wealth fund, ADQ, which transferred full ownership of Etihad Aviation Group in 2022, has tapped advisors including Citigroups, HSBC Holdings, and First Abu Dhabi Bank, according to the report, adding that a listing could happen as soon as this year. Etihad posted a five fold increase in profit earlier this week, as it expanded its network amid growing demand for travel following the COVID-19 pandemic. It recorded a $143 million profit in 2023, up from $25 million in the previous year.#adq#etihad#swf#investments#ipoalert #aviation#businessnews#competition https://lnkd.in/dQ8Hubyf

ADQ is exploring the possibility of listing Etihad Airways PJSC, considering it as the 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝘂𝗹𝗳 𝗵𝘂𝗯 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰.The potential listing of Etihad follows the transfer of ownership to ADQ from Abu Dhabi's Supreme Council for Financial and Economic Affairs in 2022. Talks with banks have commenced for a deal this year, with ADQ evaluating both traditional IPO and direct listing options. This strategic move reflects the UAE's broader initiative to leverage its national champions, boosting the domestic stock market and diversifying the economy beyond oil.#adq #etihad #swf #investments #ipoalert

Dividends = Free Airfare. Okay, that isn't exactly the case but I sure can imagine a couple of influencers framing it as such following Etihad Airway's announcement to explore a potential share sale.Gulf airlines going public (or as much as considering) does not surprise me. After all, I have been discussing this in my inner circle for the past 5+ years - it was only a matter of timing and you can bet the time is now.Gulf visionaries and their reforms are reshaping the region, attracting more footfall than ever before and guess what.. tourists need airports to go through and planes to get there.. business is booming.Moreso, competition is rising and room for collaboration through GCC crossborder travel equally so - that means the world will never be the same for Gulf carriers especially as their international counterparts struggle on many fronts (dare I say M&A activity will pick up across the sector?).Ah the day is here and I am truly excited for airlines and their adjacents and you can bet I will make my way to the heart of it.Team Edelman Smithfield strap in, this is no ordinary IPO season.#Etihad #Airlines #Travel #Tourism #IPO #ADX #DFM
