Man Kills Parents Before Jumping To Death From Bridge In NY, Police Say A man from the region murdered both of his parents before jumping to his death from a highway bridge in upstate New York, police said. Troopers in Albany were called about a man threatening to jump from the Patroon Island Bridge (I-90) at around 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15. Car Crashes Into House In Somers A driver was hospitalized after crashing into a still-under-construction house in Northern Westchester. The crash happened on Wednesday, Aug. 14 just before 12:30 p.m., when a vehicle collided with a house on Muscoot River Road in the town of Somers, according to the Somers Volunteer Fire Department. Fatal Crash: 31-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Hudson Valley A 31-year-old motorist was killed after crashing into a tree. The incident happened around 8:15 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, in Columbia County. An investigation determined that a motorcycle driven by Schenectady County resident Randall D.
